Kollektion: Skilfing

The Norse clans of the Skilfingar are many and varied and stretch from Svealand in the east to Norrland in the west, and even parts of Daneland; but all their petty kings pay tribute to Ingjald the warrior-king, the ill-adviser, the Dane-killer who vowed to enlarge his kingdom by half towards all the four quarters - or die in the attempt. So it is that the longshipmen take to the seas from all corners of Svealand and Norrland, to bring wealth and tribute and slaves to their King. So it is that Ingjald seeks alliance with those of Jötunheimr, the once-enemies of Midgard, for their power and strength. So it is that he invokes the names of the Æsir for their aid in their conquests - for the Skilfingar will have their king's oaths fulfilled.
