Kkleek's Throwers, Megakontabolos Battery

Having seen the power of the Atalantes' crewed shot engines first hand, and trained in their use, Kkleek was amongst the first to bring that power to bear upon his former masters. Whilst the technology of the star-ancients was far beyond the Atalantes' skills to reproduce, let alone their slaves, their more mundane artifices of wood and metal and torsion were not beyond the capabilities of the Sávrar. The megakontabolos (meaning, great javelin thrower), based upon the Atalantes' own torsion weapons, was the result: simple, strong and capable of throwing the ákontion to a far greater distance and with far more strength than any Sávrar hand could throw, and able to be used in great numbers upon the battlefield.
