Fiend, Warrior, Demilegionarius, Behema - all are bound to Dispater for a promise of future glory and immeasurable power, for they see the mightiest daemons of Infernus and desire their strength and influence above all. Most do not reach such heights, for death or banishment or enslavement are constant companions of the Infernii; a few are incapacitated by the gifts given to them, by the sheer scope of powers uncalled for, and crave nothing but oblivion; and fewer still devolve into beings of pain and anger and fury, becoming creatures like Zhull, creatures whose rampaging, unquenchable desire to devour the blood and the souls of the living leads to the twin evils of corruption and insanity. Perhaps this is as Dispater intends, for the usefulness of so-called Ragefiends - at least, to a general of Infernus - is greater than most.
