Érainn (Uí Néill) Claidem Fiannagh Battle Host

We're a bit late to reveal November's battle host, which is why we're ONLY offering it on sale today; we've got to get December's host - for the Atalantes! - sorted before the Christmas break!

November's incredible offering includes lots of lovely new Érainn miniatures in the Fiannagh Battle Hosts (worth over £250 at retail, yours for just £99.99) - either the Claidem(sword)-armed fiannagh or the Slea(spear)-armed version! There's only ten of each of these strictly limited edition battle hosts to sell as a whole, and all of them will disappear forever TONIGHT, the 5th of December 2024 at midnight (GMT)!

Érainn (Uí Néill) Slea Fiannagh Battle Host

Note that if you purchase a fiannagh battle host directly you can of course choose which one you'd like, but if you've purchased one via the Warlord Grey Wulf Battle Host Subscription you'll have to choose which one you'd want. You can of course purchase the other battle host separately if you'd like!

25% off the individual host contents!

We're also offering the battle host contents at 25% off too, in case you just want individual bits and pieces. You won't have to do anything - the webstore will apply the discount automagically - but unlike the hosts themselves, we'll only remove this discount on Monday the 9th of December.

Rudraige the Fat, Rí Túath of the Uí Néill

Rudraige the Fat, Rí Túath of the Uí Néill on Foot and on Horse

The warlord leading the fiannagh battle hosts is our old friend Rudraige the Fat, available in shieldwall (foot or mounted) and greatsword (foot only) variants. Sculpted by Rafael Dioli, this guy comes with bare head or helmed head options for each variants and really is a cracking, full of character sculpt and deserves to lead your Irish!

Tlachtga, Mórdruí of Danu

Tlachtga, Mórdruí of Danu Rider

Backing Rudraige up is another warlord, this time a sorceress of Danu - Tlachtga - sculpted by our incredible new sculptor, Rafael Callegari. Complete with bare head or masked head options, she's a beautiful miniature and a great complement to Nuala - and while only the foot version is included in the fiannagh battle hosts, you can purchase her riding the superb root beast (shown below) separately at 25% off! Sadly we've no images of her actually riding her mount yet as we need to get her printed and sitting on the cast resin root beast, but we'll update you on that as soon as possible.

Cormac of the Red Hand, Curadh of the Uí Néill

Cormac of the Red Hand, Curadh of the Uí Néill on Foot

A mighty champion of the Uí Néill - who faces off against the infamous gabrax gore-horn, Goraakk, on the Darklands: Second Edition cover art - Cormac of the Red Hand has been overdue a resculpt for a long time. Rafael Callegari has really delivered, because the new Cormac is a superb sculpt and worthy of his ancient title - and a great addition to the fiannagh battle hosts!

Cormac Fir Danu, Curadh of the Uí Néill

Cormac Fir Danu, Curadh of the Uí Néill on Foot

Blessed by the earth goddess Danu herself, Cormac can also become a warped warrior, warping the power of the earth through his veins to become Cormac Fir Danu - an enormous, bulging brute with the strength of the land to land his blows. Again, Rafael Callegari has sculpted an absolute wonder: look at those bursting veins! The popping eyes!!

Warriors of Tara, Fiannagh Unit

Warriors of Tara, Claidem Fiannagh Unit (10x warriors w cmd)

Alongside the cavalry, the Warriors of Tara provide the backbone of the fiannagh battle hosts. Available with claidem (sword) or slea (spear), and sculpted by Rafael Callegari and Bob Plociennik, these fiannagh comprise twenty miniatures which - thanks to the powering of mirroring - have eleven unique sculpts; not least because the red hand had to be sculpted properly on the shields of the mirrored versions!

Riders of Tara, Fiannagh Marcragh Unit

Riders of Tara, Claidem Fiannagh Marcragh Unit (5x warriors)

The first horsemen of the Irish, the Riders of Tara also come in two variants, wielding either claidem (sword) or slea (spear)! The beautiful horses (originally sculpted by Bob Plociennik) have been adapted by Rafael Callegari and while there's seven unique horse sculpts there's eleven unique rider sculpts, thanks to mirroring again. You only get five in the fiannagh battle hosts, mind, so if you want those extra sculpts you'll have to grab them individually.

Orach, Stump Beast of Mucais

Slumbering Orach, Stump of Mucais

Supporting the nobles, infantry and cavalry is the all-new Orach, sculpted superbly by Rafael Lozano. This guy is a nasty piece of work indeed! Standing on a 100mm base, stump beasts can hide on the battlefield in the guise of common tree stumps: but if enemies get too close, they can rise up without warning and destroy them!

You will only get the awakened stump beast in the fiannagh battle hosts, but Rafael has also given us three stumps to hide around the battlefield, which you can purchase separately or with Orach itself!

Orach, Stump Beast of Mucais

Removed TONIGHT, Thursday the 5th of December!

November's strictly limited edition battle host will only be on sale today, or until the 20 available have been sold; so make sure you get a hold of one of the amazing fiannagh battle hosts as soon as you can. Note that as we are so close to Christmas, these won't be produced until January, so get your pre-orders in!
